Today, as I posted the 12th in this series, I realised something. The more of these empty landscapes I take, the more I can hear Andy's voice telling me to try again, to frame the new photographs more precisely to match the originals. He was a perfectionist to the core, as many people who worked with him or socialised with him will know. Not for him the quick and dirty mix or the ready meal. Not for him the swift decision. I am sorry, my love. I’m sorry about the imperfection of these photos. There’s a mist in my eyes that makes it difficult to see.
